This morning I opened the Main Stage of Kiss the Future at the National Theatre in Sarajevo. Intelligence is becoming a commodity. That changes where companies should invest, and the core of the talk fits in one asymmetry. More than seven hundred billion dollars went into data centres in twelve months. Meanwhile the product all that capital builds gets cheaper every quarter: on one of the large model routers, 78% of the traffic already runs on open models that cost a fraction of the closed ones. When intelligence is cheap and interchangeable, the model is never the advantage. The advantage is what no model contains: how things are actually made, the data only you hold, the judgment of the people who decide. And every time that knowledge is typed into a public model, it trains someone else's tool. Hence the line I left the room with: invest where AI does not reach. The talk closed on a scene every parent knows. A child falls, you kiss it better, the crying stops. A machine will soon clean and dress that wound better than we can. It will not give the kiss. In the enterprise of the future, that is the part that stays human: deciding what is worth multiplying, how much autonomy to grant, and taking care of the people on the other end of each decision. Thank you to Nermin Hadžić for the invitation. And thank you, Sarajevo. In a city full of entrepreneurial spirit I felt that human touch in every conversation: the conviction that AI can create value for companies and, at the same time, give wellbeing back to the place they belong to. Fully human.

In sintesi: Lo spazio crea potenziale. L'industria crea valore.

Humanoid robots are built on semiconductors. And they have already started working inside the fabs that make them. On October 13, the SEMI Smart Manufacturing Fireside Chat brings both industries to the same table. The starting point is pragmatic. Fabs are among the most automated factories in the world, yet automation stops where the layout was designed for people: back-end sites, 200mm lines, the handoffs between tools. That is where the first humanoids are working today, well before the return is proven. Closing automation gaps is only the first step. The larger shift is from automation to autonomy: physical AI that perceives, adapts and learns by working, on the fab floor and far beyond it. Every step of that shift runs on chips at the edge, for sensing, motor control, power and on-board compute, and on data that only real production environments can generate. This is also where the geopolitics comes in. The United States leads on models, China on volumes and cost. Europe's part is industrial: the power, analog, sensor and microcontroller chips a humanoid is made of, and the manufacturing environments where it has to prove itself. Robot makers and chipmakers do not always read the same pilots the same way. That is exactly why the conversation is worth having now, while the choices are still open. Laith Altimime, President of SEMI Europe, will open the session. Around the table: Ralf Schuster, SVP, Infineon Dave Kehr, President Humanoid Robotics, Schaeffler Dr. André Scholz, Head of Innovation Department, Autonomous Factory, Siemens Howard Tang, Global Factory Robotics Automation Director, STMicroelectronics Jens Knut Fabrowsky, COO, NEURA Robotics Adrian Maidl, Head of Strategic Sales and Partnerships, Agile Robots Fabio Puglia, CTO, Oversonic The whole chain, from the chip to the robot to the fab floor, in one conversation. Live at 11:30 CEST. I'll be moderating, and the floor stays open for your questions. Registration and agenda in the first comment. #semiconductors #robotics
