Nobody runs a procurement process called "rethink the role of humans and AI in our sales org". What we see happening is that our product is being bought for a limited use-case but that use-case ends up being almost immaterial to what it is actually being used for. It often feels like our customers don't even remember 3-6 months after launch what they bought it for as it is such a small part of what it is being used for. The problem from the vendor perspective is that shallow use-cases rarely justify buying a comprehensive solution (the whole buy vs build debate), while a product with real depth is more than that one use case needs, so it's hard to justify either. Risk for the customer is that they end up building a whole catalogue of point solutions, each with their own data and source of truth, that they need to maintain it and somehow make it all work together. Now they are using resources to upkeep internal tools that should be used to deliver value to your customers. So is the answer for a vendor to go in with a shallow use-case and expand or get the customer to rethink their org and priorities around how their business should run in the future? To give some context, below is a non-exhaustive list of the roles Optivian Ollie plays for our customers.

Ollie is applying to your sales team. Role: AI sales co-worker. Currently working with the sales teams at Supermetrics, Jobilla, M-Files, Halon, and others. Watches every deal, flags the ones going quiet, drafts what each one needs next, keeps the CRM current, and briefs your managers on where to coach. All of it delivered into Slack, Teams, and the CRM, before anyone asks. Thirty minutes with Ollie’s human colleagues in the UK and Ireland about how your team works its deals. Pick a slot.

References for the hiring decision at your company. At Supermetrics, the pilot team ran a 20% higher win rate than the rest of the sales org. At Jobilla, 60% more deals are created each month since Ollie took over creating and updating them in the CRM, each one approved by a rep in Slack. Not new demand. All 25 sellers work with Ollie every day. Also working with M-Files, Halon, and others. Thirty minutes with Ollie’s human colleagues in the UK and Ireland about how your team works its deals. Pick a slot.

A few months ago, M-Files started rolling out Ollie to its sales teams across Europe and North America. Ollie works alongside each rep in Microsoft Teams. It already knows their deals, their customer conversations and M-Files' products, positioning and competitive material, so it doesn't wait to be asked. Ian Hill, Account Executive in the UK, logged in one morning and found Ollie had already prepped his upcoming meetings. That included a full business case and ROI calculation for a deal he hadn't told it anything about. He refined the numbers, turned them into slides and walked into the meeting with the business case already on the table. The conversation went straight to value instead of features. That prospect is now a customer. Ian isn't the only one. Other Ollie users are seeing great benefits to their work as well, for example: → Before an account meeting, a different rep used to dig through old notes and product docs. Now he asks Ollie and has the answer in seconds. → A sales director has taken weekly forecast emails off his team completely. Each one used to take a rep about an hour. This is what we're building at Optivian. Not another tool reps have to remember to open, but a co-worker that turns up with the work already done. Thank you Fionn, Ian and the whole M-Files team for being such great partners 🙌

How do the sellers at your company feel about updating the CRM? Tommi Siro, Co-Founder and CGO at Jobilla, on his team: “No one likes creating deals, updating the CRM, and setting follow-ups and reminders to come back to things later. That Ollie does all of that makes life so much easier.” At Jobilla, remembering stopped being a person’s job. Ollie drafts the CRM update from what was actually said in the meeting, and asks for a yes in Slack. All 25 sellers work with Ollie every day.
