Choosing an Offer & Order platform is the easy part. Rolling it out is where the real work begins. Whichever vendor and whichever path an #airline picks, the rollout is like renovating a house you still live in. The blueprint matters, but most of the effort is behind the walls: Plumbing and wiring: integrations. Every system around the new platform has to connect, and keep running, while the change happens. Everything inside the house: data, quality, migration and engineering. Cleaning it, moving it, and making sure the new platform can trust it. The inspection: quality assurance. Testing the whole journey, not just the new components, before customers feel the difference. The people living in the house: change-management. Teams, processes and partners all have to work differently from day one. And the scope is wide. Modern retailing reaches well beyond offers and orders, into sellers, contracts, delivery and finance. Each one adds to the complexity of the rollout. This is where programs succeed or stall, and it's the part that rarely makes the roadmap slide. At Naviq, this is where we focus: integrations, data, quality assurance and change management, whatever platform an airline chooses. Heading to the World Aviation Festival in Lisbon? Come find me at Booth 1-140A. Tell us what you're rolling out, and we'll show you where the hidden complexity tends to sit. Or message me here to set up time.

Human in the loop - Agentic AI works best when it's human-led. Not a nice-to-have. People are still the must have which decides whether it works at all. Many tracks at this year's World Aviation Festival tell the same story: AI agents are beyond just answering questions. They rebook passengers. They make the call. Right direction. Higher stakes. Here's why it matters. This isn't hypothetical anymore. This year, an airline's automated rebooking system quietly reassigned passengers to different flights — no notice, no consent, no human in the loop before it happened. Some only found out standing at a gate with a seat that wasn't theirs anymore, or a connection they could no longer make. The system wasn't wrong about the data. It was wrong about the person: no human checked what actually mattered to the traveler before the decision was made. That's the real #AI debate right now. Not whether to automate decisions — how and when to keep a #human in the loop. #Data first. People second. AI agent third. Flip that order and you've automated the mistake, not the task. Heading to #Lisbon representing Naviq with one question: how much of the #agentic AI budget goes to the human side? Still the smallest slice. Still the one passengers will notice first.
