This week, Publicis and the FTC agreed to conditions on Publicis's $2.2B LiveRamp acquisition: five years of equal access, data firewalls, and independent audits. Good protections. With an expiration date. So, it's worth asking: what happens to your identity graph if your vendor's owner, pricing, or terms change? Snowflake is the natural home for that graph. Your customer data is already there. In a new blog post, our VP of Product Uri Bushey shows how to build an identity spine in Snowflake that stays yours: 1. Normalize every source before matching 2. Make your own customer ID the backbone 3. Run the graph in your Snowflake account 4. Set your own matching rules, with guardrails 5. Use providers to fill gaps, and measure what each adds 6. Activate from your customer ID, with consent set once 7. Know what you keep if you switch vendors Uri holds Narrative to the same test: keep the graph, keep updating it, and get it in writing. Publicis is buying LiveRamp, the company that built its business on being neutral. In Nick Jordan's newest post, "The end of neutral identity," he makes the case for why it's time for a new model. For years, brands and agencies sent their customer data to LiveRamp because LiveRamp had nothing to gain from it. No media business. No agency. Once the deal closes, your match rates, audience builds and conversion signals run through a company that also works for your competitors. Nick's advice for this quarter: map where your identity lives, who controls each piece, and which pieces you want to own. The brands and agencies that start now move on their own schedule. Our team is heading to Advertising Week New York, Oct 5–8. On Oct 6 at 3:30pm, our founder Nick Jordan joins Mandy Kageff from The Weather Company to unpack a question worth sitting with: what happens when nobody owns the whole stack, and no one has to? Turning real-time data into something usable - before it goes stale - usually takes four parties, each holding a piece the others can't replicate. We're showing a different model, where skills become the unit of composition instead of custom integrations. If you're planning to be at #AWNY26 let's talk! https://lnkd.in/gbh99Yxz Session details in the comments ⬇️

Every new supplier relationship starts with the same question: how well will our data actually fit? A Marketplace Match Report answers it upfront. Because your identity graph is composable, you can bring your data and a supplier's data together and see the potential before anyone builds a thing. Three numbers tell the story: → Match Rate: how much of your data the supplier can already identify → ID Enrichment: what new data they add to the picture → IDs Per Person: how much richer your view gets once it's all combined Suppliers get to show their value clearly and early. You get confidence in the partnership before you invest. Everybody skips the guesswork. Build it yourself in Graph Studio, or hand it to Rosetta AI and get the finished report back as a link. See comments for how it all works ⬇️

A team had a clean demo, a real dataset, and budget approval. Three months later, the project was dead. That's how most AI pilots fail inside big companies: they work in the sandbox, then meet real data. Register for Thursday, August 27 at 11am ET to stop that from happening. Narrative's Composable AI Marketplace demonstrates the fix — skills, an MCP server, data planes, connectors, and data partners you pick and combine, so you get value without a services project. Uri Bushey, Narrative's Head of Product, shows how, in less than 10 minutes: → Normalize raw data into a standard schema, automatically → Build an audience and deliver it to Snapchat, in one sentence → Evaluate a data partner for more identifiers before spending a dollar → Run the same skill in two different AI agents If your AI pilots keep stalling on data that isn't ready, register below. #AI #DataNormalization #ComposableAI #DataStrategy #MarTech

We're giving away an RFI template to help brands and retailers evaluate identity and collaboration platforms. Free, vendor-agnostic, no strings. Here's why it matters: most brands don't orchestrate their own identity. They rent someone else's, one contract at a time. This RFI scores vendors on addressability, data onboarding, clean rooms, marketplace, architecture, integrations, contract and exit terms, and — weighted highest — identity and ownership. Run it against your current vendor. Run it against anyone you're evaluating next. Download the RFI template → https://lnkd.in/eJcggJZa #Identity #AdTech #DataStrategy #MarTech
