And for transport packaging, the answer is not as simple as changing material. ⬇️ After our last MOSCA Live Event on declaration obligations and the data jungle, we are taking the next step. 🚩 This time, we look at what regulation means for the physical packaging solution itself: recyclability, recycled content, product performance and the proof data that has to travel through the value chain. 🔑 The key question is: How do material, product, machine and data have to work together so that transport packaging remains recyclable, regulatory-ready and high-performing? 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗢𝗦𝗖𝗔 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼: ➡️ the regulatory and resource reality behind "circular" transport packaging ➡️ why recyclability is the realistic regulatory fulfilling pathway for strapping ➡️ how recycling expertise, feedstock quality, scale and transparency influence future solutions ➡️ why PCR-containing PP strapping has to be developed and validated for real machine performance ➡️ how sustainability data, certificates and the Digital Load Pass can support proof and documentation and can be implemented into a holistic load securing system We are happy to host the discussion with our experts Martin Bussmann, Stephan Rösgen, JESUS SANTAMARIA, Bernard Merkx and Elias Noe. Join our Live Event and explore with us how RECYCLING can be turned into NONSTOP PERFORMANCE!

Recycling is becoming a performance question. The PPWR turns recyclability, recycled content and documentation into concrete requirements for transport packaging. But circular load securing will not be solved by material change alone. It takes systemic partnership, reliable recyclate quality, machine-compatible strap development, proof structures and data that can move through the value chain. Join our MOSCA Live Event on June 23 and hear how experts from regulation, recycling, material development and application connect the dots: from PCR feedstock to high-performance PP strapping, from regulatory pressure to circular load securing in practice. Let's turn recycling into performance.

Regulatory and resource pressure is turning recyclability and recycled content from a good intention — or a fluctuating investment opportunity — into a business necessity. For strapping, the circular pathway has to be realistic and systematic. Packaging regulation is taking shape, and its impact is gaining momentum. But this development is not driven by political pressure or bureaucratic zeal alone. It is driven by resource reality — a reality we need to face and cannot simply sit out. Global demand for certain materials, especially in the polymer sector, is increasing and becoming more volatile at the same time. The availability of primary resources can no longer be taken for granted forever. This is why better resource use and circularity are becoming structural questions of resilience for countries and companies alike. For transport packaging, the discussion has to be practical. A strap is definitely not for reuse for safety reasons. That means the main circular pathway is not reuse, but high-quality recyclability — as long as we can achieve reliable circular material availability. This distinction matters. ⚠️ Recyclability is not the fallback option behind reuse for strapping. It is the realistic pathway for this application. ‼️But this can only become reality when material streams, product and machine design, performance, and proof structures are aligned. How can that actually be achieved? 👉 💡 Transport packaging needs to be compliant and it must become recyclable. 🎬 At our upcoming MOSCA Live Event, I will discuss how regulatory pressure can become a benefitial circular solution approach – with perspectives on resource reality, recycling quality and availability especially for PP, PCR-PP strapping, sustainability data and future digitalisation. 📢 I am looking forward to discussing this together with Stephan RösgenStephan Rösgen, JESUS SANTAMARIAJESUS SANTAMARIA, Elias NoeElias Noe & Bernard MerkxBernard Merkx. Join us and explore WHY and HOW the next standard is not only end-of-line performance, but profitting and beeing first in line with regulatory performance. 👉 Subscribe here: https://lnkd.in/eisNFDmU

A PP strap with recycled content still has to be a nonstop-performance PP strap. That sounds obvious - but technically, it is the real challenge. Keep reading. When we talk about recycled content in strapping, we are not only talking about material origin. A strap has to be extruded, stretched, welded reliably on the machine and perform consistently under real conditions. It also has to work with standard MOSCA machines and different welding technologies. That means recycled content cannot simply be added as a theoretical sustainability claim. It has to be developed and validated for the specific product and process. I was part of the development of a world-new strapping PP strap solution, that is ready for existing recycling and sorting streams and brings the same top-performance as all other Mosca straps. I am looking forward to the upcoming MOSCA Live Event, where I will be discussing the technical product perspective: from PCR feedstock to PP strap development and machine compatibility and give first insights into that new strapping solution – together with Martin Bussmann, Stephan Rösgen, JESUS SANTAMARIA and Bernard Merkx. If transport packaging wants to be compliant, it must become recyclable. When we talk about packaging, transport and load security, we have to consider that the regulatory landscape is not a tool to drive purely ideological agendas. It is designed to drive systemic change and help industries perform tomorrow as well. ❓ Does it always do this efficiently? No. ❓ Is it intrinsically flawed? Not necessarily. 💡 The important question to answer is: who will be in the driver’s seat? Today, when we speak about end-of-line performance, it must be regulatory-ready. Tomorrow, it must be part of a secure recycling stream. That means also to be resilient in the face of regulatory requirements and supply crises, and to actually make this industry work in times of permanent shifts. This does not only mean just buying and using the right recycled material it implies allying yourself with the right partners who share a common conviction and goal in securing and providing that PCR and not to simply react to whatever PPWR, EPR or UK Tax will bring. Not to react to whether or not the Strait of Hormuz is going to remain open, or what kind of extortion money you will need to pay to receive your oil-based resources. But to be able to rely on: ▶️ a system that is ready for today’s requirements ▶️ a system that is resilient, also for tomorrow ▶️ a system that integrates strapping, machine, data and recycled material seamlessly, ready to start and able to be modified 🚀 At our upcoming MOSCA Live Event, I will discuss how regulatory pressure can become a concrete circular solution approach – with perspectives on resource reality, recycling quality and availability especially for PP, PCR-PP strapping, sustainability data and the Digital Load Pass. I am looking forward to discussing this together with Stephan Rösgen, JESUS SANTAMARIA, Elias Noe and Bernard Merkx. 🤝 Join us and explore WHY and HOW the next standard is not only end-of-line performance, but first in line regulatory performance.
