20 years of Montea on Euronext. A lot has changed since 2006 🔔 When Montea was first listed on Euronext Brussels in October 2006, we were still a relatively small Belgian real estate company. Now, twenty years later, we operate in four European countries, have grown our portfolio significantly and are taking on developments that would have been difficult to imagine back then. Having been part of this journey as CEO since 2010, it's been remarkable to see how Montea has evolved over the years. Of course, there have been many milestones along the way. But what makes me particularly proud is how we've grown while staying true to our long-term approach. Investing in the right locations, developing with the intention of remaining the owner and, above all, building strong local teams who know their markets and our clients. None of this would have been possible without the commitment of our Monteaneers and the trust of our clients, partners and shareholders. A sincere thank you to all of them! In this video, I look back at some of the milestones that have shaped Montea over the past twenty years. And while it's always good to look back, I'm even more excited about what lies ahead. The availability of strategically located logistics land is becoming one of the defining challenges within the European logistics market. Montea erweitert deutsches Portfolio mit Akquisition am Flughafen Frankfurt Montea hat eine vollvermietete Logistikimmobilie in der Cargo City Süd am Flughafen Frankfurt erworben – einem der bedeutendsten Luftfrachtstandorte Europas. Die Immobilie verfügt über rund 23.000 m² vermietbare Fläche und ist vollständig an Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), einen weltweit führenden Anbieter von Luftfrachtabfertigungs- und Logistikdienstleistungen, vermietet. Die Lage direkt am Flughafen Frankfurt bietet Zugang zur luft- und landseitigen Infrastruktur, zur bestehenden Zollinfrastruktur sowie eine unmittelbare Anbindung an internationale Warenströme. Aufgrund der stark begrenzten Flächenverfügbarkeit an europäischen Flughafenstandorten sind vergleichbare Logistikimmobilien nur selten verfügbar. Jo De Wolf, CEO von Montea: „Deutschland ist für Montea einer der wichtigsten Wachstumsmärkte in Europa. Mit Frankfurt stärken wir unsere Position an einem Standort, der für internationale Lieferketten von zentraler Bedeutung ist. Wat komt er de komende jaren op onze sector af? Een vraag waar je niet alleen binnen het logistiek vastgoed een antwoord op vindt. Daarom brengen we bij Montea ieder jaar, vlak voor Prinsjesdag, klanten, experts en sectorgenoten samen tijdens Reality Check. Om juist ook buiten onze eigen sector te kijken naar ontwikkelingen die invloed hebben op de keuzes die we vandaag maken. Dit jaar deden we dat vanuit drie perspectieven. 🔹 Mathijs Bouman over de economie en waarom ontwikkelingen buiten Prinsjesdag misschien wel veel bepalender zijn voor logistiek en vastgoed. 🔹 Frans Cruijssen over de kansen om logistiek slimmer te organiseren en daarbij verder te kijken dan alleen winstgevendheid en werkgelegenheid. 🔹 Bernard Hammelburg over geopolitiek en de impact die ontwikkelingen in het Midden-Oosten kunnen hebben op handelsstromen en onze economie.
