New news! You can now publish your Adobe Substance 3D Painter asset at the resolution you built it in. For as long as 3D has needed to leave the artist's workstation, the rule has been to decimate, downsize, and compress, then guess at the device and connection on the other end. The Miris plugin for Substance 3D Painter removes that step. Publish from Painter and you get a link that streams the full asset. The first frame arrives in under a second whether the source is 8 MB or 800 MB, and each device refines to the detail it can hold. Materials travel too. Painter exports OpenPBR through OpenUSD, and the plugin publishes to Playbook or your own Miris account, with UDIMs and multiple texture sets supported up to 10 GB.
