Last week, MDPI UK had the opportunity to host an Academic Publishing Workshop at the Translational Cardiovascular Research Group (TCRG) Research Masterclass at the University of Buckingham. A wide range of topics were covered, including the editorial process, AI usage within publishing, and understanding and responding to reviewer comments. Additionally, there was also a Q&A session in which attendees had the opportunity to ask questions. We also spoke about the Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM) MDPI, going over journal metrics, the societies we collaborate with, and highlighted the sections relevant for the audience who work in cardiology research. The session was very insightful, with many of the PhD students and postdoctoral researchers taking advantage of the opportunity to have their questions on research and publishing answered. A big thank you to everyone that attended and we look forward to future collaborations with the university!
