What if rear lighting could enable 3D styling, personalization and communication? As vehicles become increasingly connected, intelligent and software-defined, lighting is evolving beyond functionality into a platform for interaction, personalization and digital expression. Marelli's Flat Lit Surface technology, featuring Flat Lit Surface Segmented (Folia LED) and Flat Lit Surface Digital (digital segmented OLED) – presented earlier this year at Auto China in Beijing – is the next step in rear lighting innovation. Designed around styling differentiation, personalization and communication, it opens new possibilities for vehicle identity, digital interaction and modular design. By integrating the legally required signaling functions alongside digital OLED display elements into a single rear lamp architecture, Flat Lit Surface creates new opportunities for interaction and expression. Its 3D Folia surface lighting introduces a distinctive approach to signaling, while integrated OLED panels can produce text and symbols, enabling new forms of V2X communication. Key features include: ▪️ Distinctive 3D illuminated on/off styling ▪️ Integrated OLED displays for text- and symbol-based communication ▪️ Over-the-air-enabled personalization and brand differentiation ▪️ Full rear signaling functionality By bringing all this together, Marelli continues to push the boundaries of rear lighting.

What if engineering challenges could be identified before a prototype even exists? At Marelli, advanced virtual validation is transforming the way we develop products. By leveraging digital prototypes, our teams can assess mechanical performance, thermal management, and electromagnetic compatibility at earlier stages, helping reduce development time, optimize resources, and accelerate innovation. As Simone Calcopietro shares in this video, the impact is already tangible: faster time-to-market, fewer physical samples, and thousands of engineering hours saved. And this is only the beginning. The next frontier is combining simulation with AI to make engineering decisions even smarter and faster. #MarelliPeople #VirtualValidation #EngineeringExcellence

Different markets. One flexible architecture. Luca Potenza, Engine and Vehicle Management Systems Product Manager at Marelli Propulsion, introduces our new generation of Port Fuel Injection Engine Control Units (PFI ECUs). Luca explains how these new PFI ECUs meet the varied demands in different markets and powertrains, offering a flexible multi-fuel solution tailored to the Brazilian, Indian and EMEA markets. Developed, validated and manufactured locally, each ECU is optimized to perform in the unique conditions of the region. Powered by Infineon’s second-generation AURIX™ TC3 microcontroller, they also deliver high performance, multitasking capabilities and anti-tuning protection, supporting more efficient and versatile propulsion solutions. The result is faster implementation, reduced costs and dedicated technical support, combined with reliable performance, regulatory compliance and adaptability across different vehicle platforms. 🎥 Watch the highlights in this short video, and for a deeper dive into the technology, watch the full video via the link in the comments.

What if vehicle display connectivity could be built on the same open standards powering next-generation digital cockpits? Today, we're bringing that vision to life. In partnership with Microchip Technology Inc., we’re demonstrating a new solution that combines our display expertise with ASA Motion Link technology, an open standard for automotive video connectivity. This innovative solution enables graphics and video content generated by centralized vehicle computers to be streamed directly to displays through secure, high-speed standardized ASA Motion Link, while supporting compatibility and interoperability across the automotive ecosystem. The outcome is a simpler display architecture, optimized system costs, increased sourcing flexibility, all in a scalable approach that will help car makers accelerate the transition toward software-defined vehicles. Through this collaboration we are demonstrating how open standards can unlock simpler, more flexible vehicle architectures for the future of mobility.
