At HMAS Stirling, history is being made with the first-ever Virginia class submarine undergoing large-scale maintenance outside the US. MAK Water delivered a world-first mobile high-purity water plant to support submarine maintenance. 💧 Working closely with ASC Pty Ltd and the team from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & IMF we designed and installed the plant — a critical innovation ensuring water supply for sensitive naval operations. Why does this matter? 🔹 WA business meeting rigorous standards for international defence 🔹 Demonstrates innovation and highest standards of technical excellence 🔹 Commitment to Australian-made quality and robust quality systems 👏 Congratulations to HIFraser and all the WA defence industry leaders. Video of a site I visited, one of MAK Water's long-standing clients to check in on their Reverse Osmosis (RO) system and filmed a short video explaining how RO works and how we tailored the solution to meet their specific water treatment challenges. It was a great chance to break down the basics and show how customised design and engineering can make a real difference in performance and sustainability. The site visit also highlighted how important it is to stay connected with our clients and ensure their systems continue to operate efficiently. And yes, Melbourne delivered a rare sunny day, perfect for filming!
