A new request comes up in the middle of a project. What happens next? For project managers, the instinct can sometimes be to protect the agreed scope. For clients, the new request might simply feel like an important addition that needs to happen. Neither side is wrong. The challenge is that adding something new usually has an impact elsewhere: scope, budget, timeline, resources, or priorities. Instead of making it a yes/no conversation, I think it’s much more productive to make those trade-offs visible and decide together what makes the most sense. For example: 💰Option A: The new request is important and needs to happen now. We keep the deadline but adjust the scope and budget so there are enough resources to deliver it. 🔄Option B: The budget and deadline need to stay as agreed. We decide together which lower-priority deliverable can move out of the current scope. 📌Option C: The current project continues as planned, and the new request becomes part of a follow-up phase. From the project manager’s side, this means not automatically saying “no”. And from the client’s side, it means recognizing that a “small additional request” can still have an impact on the wider project. In my experience, the best scope conversations aren’t about who wins or loses. They’re about being transparent about the impact, understanding what matters most, and finding the best solution together. And sometimes that new request isn’t a scope problem at all. It’s the beginning of the next project. When priorities change mid-project, what helps you turn a potential scope conflict into a constructive conversation? 🤝

What happens when marketing teams spend less time managing campaigns and more time guiding growth? That question came up repeatedly during the Dreamforce 2026 marketing keynote. After attending the event, Sanna Halttunen-Välimaa explored what Salesforce's vision could mean for marketers in practice: • Agentic marketing • Adaptive campaigns • Buying signals • Marketing and sales alignment • The changing role of marketers The result is the third and final article in her Dreamforce series. 👉 Read it here: https://hubs.ly/Q04CfY5t0 #Dreamforce2026 #MarketingCloud #AgenticMarketing

Hi 👋 There are lots of new faces here lately, so it’s time for my quarterly “who is this person? 👀 ” post. I’m Chiara, Italian, living in Helsinki 🇮🇹➡️🇫🇮 (Yes, I’ve learned to love the Finnish winter. Mostly.) I’m a B2B digital marketing strategist and business developer. I help B2B companies turning marketing activity into real pipeline, through: ✅ Paid advertising built on a strategy, not just a budget ✅ Content strategy that makes buyers take you seriously ✅ Marketing and sales working as one team, so leads actually become deals ✅ Business Development (aka: how can we grow this company?) What you’ll find here, if you follow me, every week: 📌 Practical B2B marketing tips, and the mistakes I see most often with my clients, 🔍 Marketing Lens by Chiara: I take a real B2B campaign apart and score it out of 10 (But I warn you...I’m not always nice) 🌱 Honest stories about building a career abroad and growing as a professional Outside work, I travel a lot, train at the gym and keep working on myself. I also mentor junior marketers, and make sure I get mentored too!! Fun fact: people tell me I’m fun to work with. I’ve decided to believe them, and I hope you'll see it for yourself too here 😄 If we’ve just connected: hi! Tell me in the comments what you do and what you’d like to see more of here 👇 #B2BMarketing #DigitalMarketing #PaidAdvertising #ContentStrategy #Helsinki

AI gets most of the attention. But one of the most important themes at Dreamforce 2026 was something less visible: context. After attending the event in San Francisco, Sanna Halttunen-Välimaa, Head of Revenue & Growth at Luxid, noticed that nearly every convincing AI demonstration depended on the same foundations: • Trusted data • Connected systems • Clear governance • Accessible business context In the second article of her Dreamforce series, she explores why useful AI depends on much more than models.
