Momentum, innovation, and commitment. These are some of the words that defined 2025 at Lundbeck. This has been a transformative year. We have not only delivered strong performance across our strategic brands, but fundamentally strengthened our position as a Focused Innovator in neuroscience. We are on track to deliver five to six mid- to late-stage assets next year, aimed at addressing significant unmet needs in neuroscience and shaping our future. Several of these assets are set to advance through important milestones, reinforcing our trajectory for the years ahead. Despite a rapidly evolving geopolitical environment, we are well-positioned to navigate uncertainty and continue expanding our opportunities in 2026. For all of these achievements, I owe my warmest thanks to our teams. It is thanks to their focus and commitment that we have been able to continue evolving our company, build strong foundations through focused innovation, make meaningful investments, and forge new partnerships. With our ongoing efforts to use AI as a core enabler of progress, I am confident we will navigate the next 12 months together with the same purpose and unity that have brought us this far. And this is only the beginning of what we can achieve together. Wishing you all a joyful holiday season. Our energy matters, so let’s all rest, reset and reconnect ahead of another purposeful year. #FocusedInnovator #Lundbeck

As the year draws to close, we have a chance to reflect on how far we have come. One of the highlights has been seeing how AI is helping us fundamentally transform how we pursue our mission at Lundbeck to improve brain health. When we launched our AI Manifesto in October 2024, we knew AI would be essential to becoming a true Focused Innovator. And now we have early proof points that we are heading in the right direction: ️➡️ Through our partnership with Iambic Therapeutics, we are utilising AI-guided molecular design to accelerate the process of designing small-molecule compounds, tackling a pressing problem in the involved area of disease research. We are deepening our integration with Iambic’s AI platform, hoping to get a whole new class of treatments to patients living with a critical unmet need. ️️➡️ We have combined AI and the Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI)'s Gefion supercomputer to predict the three-dimensional structure of proteins in about a day – something that would have taken six to twelve months previously. This means that our scientists can now explore vast molecular libraries and identify promising targets faster than ever before, coupling AI-driven predictions with experimental verification. ➡️ Our partnership with OpenAI has enabled our colleagues to work more efficiently. We have upskilled more than 2,000 employees in using AI responsibly and based on our self-reported estimates we are collectively saving over 8,000 hours per week through AI-enabled productivity gains. We have built strong foundations, and we are delivering real impact. But our work with AI does not stop here. We are aiming to become a fully AI-enabled bionic company, seamlessly integrating human expertise with intelligent technology to help us move faster and think smarter. As we move into 2026, we are ready to scale our transformation even further, positioning us at the forefront of AI-enabled innovation in neuroscience. Thank you to everyone who has embraced this journey. Your willingness to experiment, learn and push boundaries is unlocking breakthroughs that truly make a difference. #FocusedInnovator #AItransformation

Advancing brain health requires strong partnerships across science, clinical care and patient communities. Last week, alongside my colleagues Michala Fischer-Hansen, Pirathiv Kugathasan and Annette Giversen, I had the privilege of visiting the Danish Headache Center . Every minute of the visit clearly showed that this institution is a true example of world-class research, multidisciplinary care, and patient involvement coming together to transform lives. Our conversations focused on a critical challenge: how do we ensure that scientific breakthroughs translate into real-world patient access? Even though we have seen a true advancement in migraine with the treatment of aCGRP, it is clear that achieving our full innovation ambition will require continued research into additional targets. Even the most hard-won innovations have limited value if they cannot be integrated effectively into healthcare systems. From our discussions, three insights stood out, relevant not only to Lundbeck but to all our peers in neuropharma: ➡️ Denmark’s strategic investment in migraine research has a ripple effect worldwide. It was inspiring to hear from Professor Messoud Ashina and Associate Professor Hakan Ashina about how the work being done at the Center is reinforcing Denmark’s position at the forefront of global neuroscience. By supporting this ecosystem and advocating for other industry players to do so as well, we strengthen the pace of progress in migraine therapies globally. ➡️ But we cannot develop new treatments in a vacuum. With Lars Bendtsen, we discussed the clinical integration of new medicines. As healthcare systems face capacity constraints, the industry has a responsibility to become a partner in developing solutions that support sustainable care delivery. ➡️ And access to care is paramount. Innovation must start and end with the patient. Listening to Anne Egelund, PhD was a powerful reminder of the hidden burden of migraine. At Lundbeck, we believe in co-creating with patient organisations and people with lived experience, right from the start. All to ensure our solutions address the realities of those living with the disease. Thank you to the team at the Danish Headache Center for opening your doors and for your tireless leadership in this field. Together, we are continually improving how scientific discovery is translated into meaningful patient impact. #FocusedInnovator #Neuroscience Dansk Hovedpinecenter Hovedpineforeningen

At Lundbeck, we aspire to be focused innovators. This means using all available tools at our disposal to push the boundaries of brain health innovation – which includes AI. Across our sector, AI now touches on every part of the pharmaceutical value chain, from drug design to lifting quality and safety. Through our recent partnership with the Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI), allowing us to use its Gefion AI supercomputer for our work, and our existing collaboration with Iambic Therapeutics, we are also beginning to tap into artificial intelligence’s high computational power to help us serve our patients better. How do we do this? 1. By using AI in research and development, we are aiming to speed up innovation. We can now test multiple approaches simultaneously, which could significantly shorten the time it takes to discover new molecules and optimise drugs in development. 2. This holds the promise of higher success rates, with less time and costs required. Incorporating AI technologies across our business – from R&D to internal digitalisation and IT – is transforming our processes, allowing us to streamline and overcome previous challenges. 3. We believe that all this will allow us to pursue our commitment to brain health even more effectively, accelerating progress on our projects and delivering innovative therapies sooner to the people who need them most. We are already seeing some benefits. AI has played a key role in our work with Iambic Therapeutics, helping identify potential candidates for a molecule that can treat migraine. Through our DCAI partnership, we can now scan virtual libraries with trillions of molecules. This could help us understand protein structures and sequences better, with Gefion suggesting molecules that are likely to bind, getting us to testing and verification quicker. We live in exciting times, and we are determined to make the most of today’s lightning-fast technological advancements to innovate with purpose. All in pursuit of our mission of advancing brain health for the benefit of patients and society as a whole. #FocusedInnovator #AI

Being on the ground at the #1VoiceSummit and meeting passionate patient advocates from around the globe has reinforced a simple truth: working in genuine partnership with the patient community is more than a goal. It is at the heart of making meaningful progress in brain health. This was the core theme of my discussion with Alexander, psychologist and patient teacher, on how we at Lundbeck are learning from collaborating with the patient advocacy community and bridging the gap between the industry and advocates. By implementing lived patient experience into our research and development from start to finish, we are shaping our rare disease strategy and overall operating model around ongoing dialogue with patient advocates. Patient centricity is fundamental to how we operate, and we are strengthening this collaboration on a daily basis. I hope that you find our conversation as meaningful as I did.
