It's time to bring Liberate's AI reasoning agents to every P&C insurance carrier and agency in the U.S. Today, we're excited to announce a $50M Series B led by Battery Ventures, with Marcus Ryu, GP at Battery, and previously the co-founder and CEO of Guidewire, joining our board. This brings Liberate's total funding to $72M. I'm also grateful to Canapi Ventures for their investment in our Series B, and to Redpoint, Eclipse and Commerce Ventures for their continued and unwavering support. TechCrunch has the exclusive [link in comments]. Liberate's AI agent orchestration and evaluation platform is the most comprehensive agentic AI solution purpose-built for the P&C insurance industry. Liberate's agents work on behalf of carriers and agencies across voice (phone calls), email, SMS, and web to resolve sales, service, and claims requests. Our deep integrations with major carrier core systems and agency management systems - combined with end-to-end workflow orchestration - enable our AI agents to fully resolve tasks, with human-in-the-loop escalation. At the same time, we recognize that the most special and unique part of our industry is the deeply passionate and service-oriented humans who work within it. I'm proud to say that we collectively have over two centuries of insurance experience inside the company. This is why I believe the P&C insurance industry will evolve from humans supervising humans to humans supervising an army of AI agents and specialist humans - both “employees” - working together, handing off tasks seamlessly to resolve every insurance workflow. We are leading this transformation with our AI Supervisor Platform, which comes pre-packaged with every agent deployment and equips human performance managers to become AI performance managers. We enable insurance companies to deploy AI agents, evaluate every agent interaction and workflow, and - most importantly - use human feedback to continuously train and improve agents through reinforcement learning. This is the future, and I'm so proud that we're inventing it for an industry I love. The results over the last three years with several of the most prestigious agencies and carriers prove that Liberate's agents deliver dramatic ROI: 📈 15% increase in sales 💰 23% reduction in operating costs 🤖 >80% blended resolution rate at maturity On a personal note, I want to extend my gratitude to my co-founders, Ryan and Jason, and the entire team at Liberate for their passion, dedication, and customer obsession. Finally, and most importantly, I want to thank our customers - many of whom have been inventing the future alongside us from day one. Your unwavering focus on end-customer acceptance, quality, and agent empathy pushes us to be the best AI agent platform in the insurance industry. We are hiring as many people as we can possibly find. Please DM me if you're open to working on a once-in-a-generation technology with a once-in-a-generation team.

Your next new customer might not be a person. It might be their AI agent. For many insurers, this is problematic because all their quote and service workflows are built for people. People get tired, abandon forms, and stick with a brand they know. AI agents do none of that. They check every option and keep going until the task is done. Amazon has already blocked Meta's Muse from its store. As an insurer, you now face some difficult decisions. Can an outside agent request a quote? How do you verify it's authorized? What happens when it calls your contact center? I don't think blocking agents is the answer. It doesn't help the customer who sent one. Routing every agent call to licensed staff doesn't scale either. The goal hasn't changed: the best possible service, whether your customer calls you directly or asks their AI agent to call for them. Here's more on how Liberate is helping insurers get ahead of this: https://lnkd.in/gKxqJbN9 Drop a comment with your thoughts: should insurers block AI agents, treat them like any other caller, or have AI handle them?
