🧵 A new exhibition is putting textiles in the spotlight – and we’re proud to support it. Starting tomorrow, the new special exhibition “Tec/xtil – Fibre, Function, Fashion” at the Vienna Museum of Science and Technology (Technisches Museum Wien mit Österreichischer Mediathek) explores the world of textiles – from fibers and production to their functions, applications and future. We’re supporting this exhibition as a cooperation partner, contributing our fiber and textile expertise to selected parts of the exhibition. Come by and see the exhibition for yourself. 📍 Vienna Museum of Science and Technology 📅 Starting October 23, 2026 🔗 Find out more: tmw.at/tecxtil © Technisches Museum Wien #lenzing #tmw #tmvienna #tecxtil_tmw

🎙️ How can an energy-intensive industrial site shape its own energy transition? Our Chief Pulp & Chief Technology Officer Christian Skilich recently joined the VERBUND podcast WATTgoesON to discuss exactly that. At our Lenzing site, producing cellulose fibers requires as much energy as approximately 200,000 Austrian households consume. While electricity-related measures are already in place, heat remains the bigger challenge. Our approach: reduce energy consumption first, generate sustainable energy on site where possible, and then purchase green energy externally. Together with VERBUND, we have been developing our energy system since 2021 – including photovoltaics, a power-to-heat system and charging infrastructure. 🎧 Listen to the full episode to hear why we think in decades rather than years and why companies should focus on their core business and rely on strong partnerships. Today, on SDG Flag Day, we join organizations around the world in raising awareness for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). More than a decade after their adoption, the SDGs remain a shared call to action for businesses, governments and society alike. They remind us that addressing global challenges requires collaboration, transparency and long-term commitment. At Lenzing, we view sustainability not as a single initiative, but as a responsibility across our value chain. From certified or controlled wood and pulp sourcing to renewable electricity at several production sites and supplier assessments covering 68% of our global procurement spend, we continue to integrate sustainability considerations into our business practices. The SDGs remind us that meaningful progress happens when commitment is matched by concrete action. Read more here on our website: https://lnkd.in/eFefEkUQ #lenzing #sdgflagday #sdgs

Safety starts with preparedness. Recently, the plant fire brigade at our headquarters in Lenzing, Austria, took delivery of a new fire engine, further strengthening emergency response capabilities at the site. For the 40 professionals providing emergency services around the clock, this is much more than a new vehicle. It is an important investment in safety, helping ensure fast and effective responses whenever support is needed. In 2025 alone, the team handled around 1,200 incidents, including 149 rescue operations, highlighting the vital role the brigade plays in keeping our site and people safe. With modern equipment, dedicated teams, and continuous investment, we remain committed to the safety of our people and our site. 👏 👏 👏 Thank you to our plant fire brigade for your dedication every day! #lenzing #safety

We are strengthening the foundation of our integrated production process with a new debarking and chipping line for our pulp mill at our headquarters in Lenzing, Austria. As the first step in production, efficient debarking is essential for ensuring consistent quality throughout the process. High-quality wood chips are the basis for high-quality pulp and fibers while supporting the efficient use of wood as our renewable raw material. Replacing the existing wood processing line at our site, the new debarking and chipping line is designed to support operational efficiency, consistent output, and the reliability of our operations. This investment strengthens a stable and efficient production process from the very first step. #lenzing
