Quality testing just gained more freedom and more time. Introducing the new Examo 700-LP and Examo 705-LP: tensile testers developed to make quality control on GEO construction sites faster, more mobile and easier to document. From peel and shear testing to digital reporting, the new Examo 700 series brings the testing workflow together - directly where the work happens. For quality control teams, that means: + Cordless testing directly on site with battery-powered operation + Precise measurement of tensile force and elongation + Digital documentation with LQS and the myLeister app + Faster workflows, with the Examo 705-LP testing two samples simultaneously The Examo 700-LP offers a 600 mm pulling length for materials with high elongation, while the Examo 705-LP features two independent measurement axes for applications with high testing volumes. Test. Record. Move on to the next. Meet the new Examo 700 series and discover how much time a more efficient testing workflow can give back to your day. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gKdHQfRR

How much of your testing day is actually spent testing? Moving equipment. Finding a power source. Testing one sample after another. Recording results. Preparing documentation. The new Examo 700-LP and Examo 705-LP are designed to make more of that time available for the work that matters: reliable quality control. Battery operation brings testing directly to the job site. Measurement data is recorded digitally and transferred through LQS and the myLeister app for traceable documentation. And with the Examo 705-LP, two independent measurement axes allow two samples to be tested simultaneously. The result: the potential to save valuable time every day, alongside lower energy consumption and a streamlined process from test sample to documented result. For projects with extensive testing requirements, those minutes add up quickly. More samples tested. Less time spent on the process. Quality documented from the field. See the new Examo 700 series in action. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gkNAWuaX

In 1976, Ruth Limacher’s mother simply went to ask the boss if there was a job for her daughter. Ruth was 16, had just finished school and lived with her family in Kägiswil. Leister was still a small family business, three of her siblings already worked there, and Karl Leister lived right next door. That simple question became the beginning of 50 years at Leister. Ruth started as a craftswoman assembling Hotwind. She soon found something she particularly enjoyed: soldering and the concentration, dexterity and precision that come with fine, hands-on work. That craftsmanship would accompany her for decades. For the past 36 years, Ruth has worked in the Hot Jet area, manufacturing motors - work she still enjoys today. And while Ruth kept perfecting her craft, the world around her changed considerably. She experienced Leister growing from a small company in Kägiswil into an international group. She moved with production to Sarnen-Ried in 1998. She saw modern tools become part of manufacturing and generations of Leister products reach customers around the world. Through all those changes, Ruth says something important has remained: the care with which the products are made and the people whose precision makes that possible. Perhaps the most telling part of her story came in 2024. Ruth officially retired after nearly five decades with Leister. Shortly afterwards, she was asked whether she could imagine continuing partly. She didn’t have to think twice. “Above all, I still enjoy my work.” Today, we celebrate an extraordinary 50 years with Ruth - a story of craftsmanship, change, people and genuine enjoyment in the work she does. Dear Ruth, thank you for your commitment, your precision and everything you have contributed throughout these five decades. Congratulations on 50 years at Leister! From her first days in Kägiswil to why she still enjoys making motors today, Ruth shares the memories behind her remarkable journey in our latest Leister Insight. Projekt Pacifico III: Tunnel Waterproofing in Colombia The Irra Tunnel, part of the 146-kilometer Pacífico III highway project in Colombia, is a key component of the country’s infrastructure expansion. For the waterproofing system of this underground structure, Geosoluciones implemented PVC geomembranes welded using Leister Twinny T5 technology, with regional technical support provided by LDM Leister, Leisters’s official distributor in Mexico and Central America. The Irra Tunnel, a centerpiece of the Pacífico III highway, is one of the most important infrastructure projects in western Colombia. As with any underground construction, ensuring watertight integrity is crucial. The solution: PVC geomembranes that act as a robust barrier to prevent groundwater from entering the tunnel. This barrier protects the concrete lining, avoids corrosion of metal elements, and ensures long-term structural safety. Leister Technology in Action: To achieve consistent and high-quality seams under the demanding conditions of underground work, Geosoluciones de Ingenieria SAS used Leister’s Twinny T5 automatic welding machine. Known for its digital control system, precise temperature management, and user-friendly operation, the Twinny T5 enabled clean, uniform, and reliable welds across the entire tunnel surface. #Leister #RoastingMachine #Industria #WeKnowHow

From understanding process heat to applying it with confidence. Recently, colleagues from across the Leister network came together at the Leister Academy in Kägiswil, Switzerland, for our Process Heat Training (Basic). The five-day program combined technical fundamentals with practical exercises and real application examples. Participants explored Leister’s process heat portfolio - including heating systems, blowers, hot-air blowers and control units - while learning how to identify and calculate the right solution for specific application requirements. An important part of the training was putting that knowledge into practice: operating the equipment, understanding the technology behind it and building the skills to demonstrate solutions in customer conversations. The result is a stronger foundation in process heat - connecting product knowledge, application understanding and hands-on experience. Thank you to our participants and trainers for an intensive week of learning and technical exchange at the Leister Academy.
