[OPTINITY®—Achieving faster, sustainable, and compact data centers with Kyocera’s new optoelectronic integrated module] At #CES2026 starting from January 6th, 2026, in Las Vegas, Kyocera will exhibit OPTINITY®, an optoelectronic integrated module that combines electrical and optical technologies for seamless signal conversion and PCIe optical transmission. — Power saving: By integrating CPO/OBO near the ASIC, OPTINITY® shortens wiring and eliminates the need for signal conditioners, reducing power consumption by about 10W per module (or 1MW for 100,000 units). — Enhanced server performance: OPTINITY®’s high-density design enables smaller, more compact modules while increasing bandwidth from 512Gbps to up to 1–2Tbps, resulting in significant improvements in system throughput. — Long-distance connection: Extends PCIe connection distance from 5m to up to 500m, allowing separation of heat-generating equipment for efficient cooling and enabling high-security placement of key data systems. Through these benefits, OPTINITY® contributes to data centers that are more efficient, have higher capacities, and achieve lower energy consumption than current mainstream data centers. [No barriers, just connection] At #CES2026 starting from January 6th, 2026, in Las Vegas, Kyocera will exhibit Cotopat, a revolutionary new solution from Kyocera Document Solutions that recognizes speech in real-time and displays text, diagrams, and videos on screens and tablets to enable inclusive communication by removing conversational barriers and connecting people across disabilities and language differences. During COVID-19, many senior citizens and people with hearing impairments faced difficulties in communicating through masks and acrylic boards. With the purpose of transforming these barriers into bridges, Kyocera started R&D of Cotopat in 2021 and is now rolling the solution out worldwide. By displaying spoken content or translations on a transparent acrylic panel, the Cotopat system enables users to see facial expressions during conversation and promotes smooth communication, helping resolve communication difficulties and streamline interactions in various professional settings. Visit our booth to explore innovation that drives IoT, automotive, and beyond!
