Security teams are not lacking alerts. They are drowning in them. When we spoke with Sharon Isaaci, Co-Founder and CEO of Tonic Security, he described the reality many security teams face today. Dozens of tools operating separately, each producing its own stream of findings, with millions of alerts coming in from every direction. The real challenge is not detection. It is figuring out which 1 or 2 percent of those findings actually matter. Until teams can clearly separate signal from noise, critical issues can sit buried under everything else. Most breaches do not start with some unknown threat. They start with a vulnerability the team already knew about. When we spoke with Sharon Isaaci, Co-Founder and CEO of Tonic Security, he shared the realization that led to building the company. While working incident response at Sygnia, he kept seeing the same thing in forensic investigations: the root cause was often a vulnerability that had already been detected but simply was not fixed in time. That pattern stuck with Sharon and his colleague David Warshavski. When new AI capabilities emerged, they saw an opportunity to finally tackle the problem and started Tonic. A story that feels very familiar in Israeli cyber: years inside the problem, then deciding to build the solution. Hosted by Yoel Israel Full interview link in the comments 👇

Security teams are not short on alerts. They are buried under them. When we spoke with Sharon Isaaci, Co-Founder and CEO of Tonic Security, he explained the core challenge. Security tools generate millions of findings, and more than 90% of them turn out to be noise or false positives. Yet many teams still rely on generic severity scores that label everything as high or critical. The real question is context. Is the asset actually critical? Is the vulnerability exploitable? Is the system even reachable? Without that context, teams spend huge amounts of time jumping between tools, spreadsheets, and conversations just to figure out what matters. Sharon Isaaci and the team at Tonic are focused on helping security teams cut through that noise and prioritize the small number of findings that actually reduce risk.
