I have a turtle 🐢 and he has a tighter schedule than I do. With breakfast at 8 AM and being under his lamp by 10 PM, every single day. If he didn’t eat one morning, I'd notice within a minute, because I know what his normal looks like 🧐 Customers have a normal too. A customer who usually sends €200 a month to the same two people and suddenly sends €4,000 to a new account abroad should stand out straight away, but only if someone has told the system what that customer's normal is. Knowing it is, conveniently, our job 🦸♂️ With our Transaction Monitoring, your team writes those rules themselves, without code, and can change them the same day. The first 50 companies can use it free for the entire 6 months. Message me if you're interested in or submit the application: https://lnkd.in/dMfi6Zw2

Meet my personal alarm system. He looks calm in the photo, but don't be fooled - he's a Jack Russell. He'll bark at the slightest noise, unless the visitor comes with a treat. One large US bank had the opposite problem: an alarm that barely went off at all. Between January 2018 and April 2024, 92% of its transaction volume went unmonitored by its automated system. That's around $18.3 trillion, or roughly $8 billion a day. The US Department of Justice said the system "remained effectively static" and "did not adapt to address known, glaring deficiencies". The bank pleaded guilty and agreed to pay over $1.8 billion in penalties in the DOJ case. There should be nothing "static" about transaction monitoring. Payments change over time, and monitoring rules need to keep up. Our tool lets your team update rules the same day. We're offering a free six-month pilot to 50 companies, no treats required. My DMs don't bite. Can't say the same about my Jack Russell. Message me if you'd like to learn more.

The poster in my office puts a price on office habits. A "quick 5-minute brainstorm" (always a lie) runs 45 minutes and costs €10. Transaction monitoring also has its own price list, and a lot steeper. Fenergo counted $4.6 billion in AML penalties worldwide in 2024. More than $3.3 billion of it was for transaction monitoring failures, which is over ⅔ of the total and 2x the year before. So for most compliance teams, monitoring is where the fines come from. That's why we built a tool where your team writes and tests its own rules without code and can change them the same day, and 50 companies can get it free for 6 months. DM me if you'd like to know more about the pilot.

If you ever bet me I can’t last a month without coffee, you’ll lose. I haven’t had one in well over a year, and you’d only know that if you’d checked first (sorry, Andrius). A lot of bad deals start with a handshake. A handshake with a good feeling about someone you don’t really know. In the UK, 70% of the scam payments people were tricked into making in 2024 began on online platforms, according to UK Finance. Before I trust a payment, I go through four things: 1. Check who’s on the other side. 2. Look at their history as well as this one payment. 3. Be extra careful with anything new and urgent. 4. Write the rule down so it doesn’t depend on someone’s gut feeling that day. The Transaction Monitoring we built screens every transfer against sanctions, PEP and adverse media lists and runs it through rules your team writes, so the decision rests on data. Fifty companies can try it completely free for a full six months. Message me to grab a spot while the coffee’s hot. Not mine, obviously.

Europe lost €4.2 billion to payment fraud in 2024, up €3.5 billion from the year before. Measured against everything that moved, that's about 0.002% of payment value. Fraud is tiny, which is why it's so hard to find by looking at payments one at a time. Credit transfers were the biggest piece at €2.2 billion, and customers carried most of those losses themselves, mainly after being talked into sending the money. They logged in and approved it, so the bank saw a normal payment. If you run compliance, the warning signs usually sit around the payment, like a payee nobody has paid before or money moving within minutes. We built our monitoring so your team can customize it for exactly these patterns and run every payment through them. The pilot is free for 6 months for 50 companies, and our team handles the setup.
