Delivering the goods! Every year, in the United States, one out of every six of the approximately four trillion miles driven each year is for purchasing goods and services. As we shift rapidly into a world where goods and services come to us, they come overwhelmingly in medium-duty vehicles. We started Harbinger with a vision to modernize and reduce the costs of every one of these billions of miles. Today, I’m thrilled to share that Harbinger has closed a $160 million Series C, co-led by FedEx. When we kicked off production earlier this year, it stopped being about what’s next and started being about what’s real. FedEx is as real as it gets. We’re excited to bring the drivers who deliver millions of packages each day a new level of performance, comfort and safety. Huge credit to our team for proving that vertically integrated manufacturing isn’t just possible, it’s the best way to build better trucks. And massive thanks to our investors and partners who keep betting on American-made innovation that can hold its own on the world stage. Read the press release here: https://lnkd.in/g9hghKv9

Save more and reduce upfront EV acquisition costs versus diesel equivalents with the Harbinger Fleet Economic Accelerator Program.

Today we announced a major milestone for Harbinger and the electric vehicle industry. FedEx has co-led our $160 million Series C investment round and placed an initial order of 53 electric trucks. Paul Melander, Senior Vice President of Safety and Transportation, FedEx, said: “This trifecta of performance, price, and operational resilience is what we need to be able to continue to scale. We look forward to bringing these Class 5 and 6 units into our fleet and seeing electric medium-duty trucking options—like what Harbinger is offering—become more accessible in the marketplace for commercial fleets of all sizes.” We are driving the next generation of medium-duty electric vehicles with a clean-sheet platform designed for optimized fleet performance. Our collaboration with FedEx demonstrates that this vision is already taking shape in the market. With this round, Harbinger has raised $358 million to date. #Harbinger | #SeriesC | #MediumdutyEV | #AmericanManufacturing

Very excited to share a huge milestone for Harbinger today. Harbinger has raised $160 million in our Series C funding round co-led by FedEx, Capricorn's Technology Impact Fund, and THOR Industries, Inc.. Along with the investment, FedEx has placed an initial order for 53 vehicles for delivery beginning later this year. The medium-duty EV market has been stuck in demonstration hell for two decades. Endless pilot programs with 5-10 trucks that never graduate to real fleet deployment. FedEx ordering 53 trucks isn’t just a pilot, it’s a real deployment within one of the world’s largest logistics networks in the world. What changed? It was never about technology readiness. The barrier was always price parity and proven durability. Fleets don’t buy trucks for sustainability reports. They buy trucks that actually work. FedEx put our vehicles through months of on-road testing. Harbinger’s trucks passed because our platform was engineered from the ground up for commercial duty, not converted from a diesel chassis. And for the first time, fleets can get that level of performance at acquisition parity with diesel. The reason we can do both comes down to vertical integration. We design and manufacture battery packs, drivetrains, chassis, and suspension in-house, here in America. Four years ago, that looked like a risky bet. Today, with tariffs reshaping supply chains every week, it's proving essential. You can't vertically integrate overnight when trade policy shifts. Thank you to all of our investors backing this vision, to our team at Harbinger who made it reality, and to FedEx for moving first on technology that works Read the press release here: https://lnkd.in/gifKgdYw

TCO, not range, will decide the future of medium-duty EV adoption When fleets think about electrification, the first question I hear is usually about range. Will the truck make it through my routes? But when I look at how most medium-duty fleets actually operate - the average daily route is 65–70 miles - I know range isn’t the real barrier. The real decision point is economics. A diesel medium-duty truck today costs operators $25–40k a year in fuel and maintenance. With an EV, that drops by roughly half - about $12k in annual savings. Add to that reduced downtime (because EDU or battery swaps can take hours, not days) and a 20-year / 450,000-mile lifespan, and the numbers tell their own story. This is why we designed Harbinger around TCO first. With modular battery packs, vertical integration, and long-life components, our goal isn’t to win a range race - it’s to give fleets a business case they can’t ignore. In the end, range gets you in the door. But TCO is what closes the deal.
