In July, a few weeks before we announced our Series C, I sat down with Marina Specht for the FORBES España Gamechangers series. She asked me what the round meant beyond the number. My answer was trust. We got here because our customers keep choosing to work with us. They show that trust in many ways: they let our engineers work side by side with their teams, show us how their operations really run, and let us come back with ideas for what to build next, often in areas of the business we haven’t touched yet. Some have even invested in our rounds, and that means a lot. That kind of trust is earned slowly, and for us it comes from being customer-obsessed. When you put customers first in everything you do, revenue, fundraising and growth inevitably follow. Find the full interview (in Spanish) in the comments.

While agents scale the work that can be done within an enterprise, every new agent comes with a workflow to build, tests to write, data to wire up, and another custom interface someone has to log into to monitor operations. How much of your business runs on agents depends on how fast your team can build, fix, and run everything around them. Today we’re launching Prisma: an intelligent copilot that acts as your chief of staff, using the platform the way your team would and proactively raising what needs your attention. Use it to plan and build agents and workflows, the tests that gate them, the data they produce, and the apps you’ll monitor and manage them from. Prisma keeps a live read of your whole operation, and when something slips, it traces the cause from the metric, to the graded sessions, to the node that broke. Then it writes the fix, re-runs the suites, and carries on monitoring. Build, run, and improve your agents. All in one place. More on how our team built Prisma, in the comments.

Can an AI agent open a sales conversation customers actually want to have? That’s one of the questions CMA CGM and our team at HappyRobot are answering together. Our partnership puts AI agents to work across CMA CGM’s operations, sales, customer care, and finance. In just four weeks, Eva, the outbound sales agent, was deployed to call customers without a dedicated sales rep, present a quote, and hand off a qualified lead to CMA CGM’s team. For these businesses, that means a proactive call with a quote for their route, a conversation in their own language, and a direct line to the right specialist on CMA CGM’s team, instead of navigating options on their own. Eva has already contacted more than 4,000 of these customers, with a third now in active pipeline. By the end of the year, Eva will be live in 20+ countries. And this is just the beginning - every day as we walk together we discover new opportunities to innovate. We’re thrilled to continue this partnership together! Thank you Mathieu Friedberg and the CMA CGM team. Read the full case study in the comments.

In voice AI, what an agent says is only half the problem. The harder half is how it says it: where it breathes, when it pauses, which word it stresses. Getting that right is a big part of what we build. In Q3 alone, we shipped a multimodal end-of-sentence model, echo filtering for noisy calls, WhatsApp voice notes, native Chinese and Japanese voices, and more. Among the most exciting is how we train our text-to-speech model. Standard training learns the average of many valid deliveries, with no notion of what sounds better. So we let a judge choose: we sample several deliveries of the same line, score each for naturalness, and shift the voice toward the ones people prefer. Rather than hand-writing rules for human delivery, we train models to recognize it. Our engineers break down the approach in a blog linked in comments.

Q3 was our best hiring quarter ever at HappyRobot. 95 people joined us out of 49,406 applicants. That’s a 0.06% hire rate. Fun coincidence: that’s almost exactly how many applications Blackstone got for the Analyst program the year I joined there. Now we’re hiring the size of the entire team I joined, every single week. We went from 8 people to this scale in just 8 quarters, and we’re only getting started. New markets are opening up, with 100+ open roles across >10 countries today, so we are still incredibly early! If you want to take your career to the next level, this is the moment to join. The quality of talent and the culture are obvious as soon as you meet a HappyRobot. DM or email me if you’re interested!
