Could you prove every vendor on your sites was checked before they started work? Gatekeeper gives energy and utilities teams the right checks for the risk of the work, every sign-off on one record, and no payment until a vendor is approved. See how Energy Matrix Group did it.

Energy Matrix Group expects to hold 50% more contracts in 2026. Every supply agreement, transport arrangement, customer contract and vendor agreement carries terms, obligations and dates where a miss has commercial and compliance consequences. EMG tested the contract lifecycle management market against its own contract types, approval structures and reporting needs before choosing Gatekeeper. It now manages more than 900 contracts and more than 300 onboarded customers and suppliers. The case study shows: ✅ How key terms can be searched and compared quickly, rather than reviewed document by document ✅ How Gatekeeper Agents work inside an approvals workflow built on EMG’s own sign-off structure ✅ How automated reminders give teams time to act ahead of renewals and notice periods Read the full story: https://hubs.ly/Q04z-S660 🚀

Earlier this year a frontier AI model scored 95% on the US Math Olympiad. The same model scored under 0.5% on visual puzzles that 98% of people solve. The Olympiad problems look like thousands of problems in its training data. The puzzles look like nothing it has seen, so it guesses. You cannot make it reason its way out of that. What you can change is the material you hand it. In most enterprises that material is contracts in a shared drive, vendor data in a procurement tool that does not talk to legal, and risk assessments in a spreadsheet someone updates once a quarter. Then an agent goes on top and someone asks what a supplier costs across every contract. That answer needs facts joined from four systems, and joining scattered facts is the thing these models are worst at. A few APIs and a chat interface will not fix that. It makes the data look connected without making it ready to be reasoned on. So before you sign anything, ask which of your systems has genuinely modelled how its records relate to each other, rather than storing them apart and calling the sync between them an integration. That is the one worth putting an agent on. I wrote the full argument up for Forbes https://lnkd.in/eNdhmpeN

Fewer than 1 in 10 companies have scaled AI agents to real value. Almost none of them failed because of the model. Eight in 10 blame their data, but it is rarely bad data. It is good data with the context stripped out. Take a finance team that puts an agent on supplier renewals. It reads three systems, and none of them agree on what an active supplier actually is. The contracts system counts anyone with a live contract. Finance is really looking at whether a payment has gone out lately, while the supplier database only counts them once onboarding is done. For most suppliers those line up, so the gap stays hidden. For the ones where they don't, the agent has to resolve the contradiction, and it does that by guessing. It renewed contracts the business had deliberately ended and flagged suppliers that are still in use. No single record was wrong. What was missing was the context tying them together, and nothing flags a context problem. You find out when a supplier rings asking where their renewal went. The fix is not a smarter model. It is a layer underneath the agent that knows what your business means by active, or approved, or closed, before it acts on any of it. I wrote the full argument up for Forbes https://lnkd.in/gSP-49Uz

Join us on 20 May and see how NetSuite becomes your third-party command centre with Gatekeeper. Finance teams running NetSuite have a clear view of the business. What they often cannot see is the layer behind every payment: vendor risk posture, contract expiry dates, compliance status that determines whether a supplier should still be on the master file. Gatekeeper's Jessica Hamilton and Katherine Lepage will demonstrate how mid-market teams can connect both platforms to manage every third party without leaving NetSuite, flowing live risk signals into dashboards, recovering spend from duplicate vendors and silent renewals, and collapsing audit prep from 400-plus hours to minutes. The session runs live at 9:00–9:30 a.m. PDT. Can't make the time? Register and you will automatically receive the recording to watch on demand following the live event.
