Curious about Fabric Planning and where it's heading? A lot has changed since our first session in April. Fabric Planning is now GA, and #FabConEurope added a new round of planning features. Teams are asking different questions now. So, were back with part two. The session covers three main questions: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁? What Fabric Planning is today, including the new features from FabCon. You build budgets, forecasts and scenarios directly on your Power BI semantic models. 𝗦𝗼, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁? Your plan and your data are in one place. You dont need a separate tool, and you dont need to copy numbers back and forth. 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁? Where to start, and how it fits into the Power BI and Fabric setup you already have. Gopal Krishnamurthy and Khaled Chowdhury will walk through all three and more. 📅 October 21, 2026 🕚 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM CDT 📍 LinkedIn Live Bring your questions. Fabric Planning is new. The interest is not. In the last few months, the conversations have shifted. Finance teams, FP&A leaders, and data professionals keep landing on the same question: what does planning look like when it sits natively on Microsoft Fabric? Here's the part most people miss. Most planning projects don't fail because of the model, the formulas, or the UI. They fail because the data underneath was never set up to handle it. Wrong grain. Wrong governance. Wrong assumptions about what the planning layer needs from upstream. That is where Fabric PowerTable comes in. It sets the foundation so the planning layer actually has something solid to sit on. At the end of June, we are hosting the first dedicated cohort for Mastering Fabric Planning PowerTable. A hands-on virtual workshop for people who want to understand where planning, Power BI, Excel-style workflows, and Microsoft Fabric are starting to connect. Three Microsoft Data Platform MVPs. Five practitioners. Four countries. One purpose: giving finance and data professionals a practical way to get one step ahead of where planning is going. We are keeping the first cohort intentionally small so there is room for real questions, deeper discussion, and practical learning. The workshop runs live over two half-days on June 29 and 30. Inaugural cohort pricing: $499, 50% off the standard $999 rate. This first round is about delivering something useful, learning what works, and shaping a better experience for the community around it. By the time something becomes a general idea, it is usually already a little late. That is why this first cohort is for people working in FP&A, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or planning who want to understand PowerTable while the space is still being formed. Seats are limited by design. Register here: https://lnkd.in/gqKNQpvf
