🚨 Attention technicians and customers - the 2G and 3G network shutdown is coming. Are you ready for it? As these networks are phased out, any alarm communicators still operating on 2G or 3G will stop transmitting signals, meaning your alarms may no longer reach our monitoring centre. That’s why Code 9 is leading the charge to ensure every site we protect is upgraded in time. Here’s what you need to know: Deadline: All 2G/3G communicators must be upgraded to 4G before 31 December 2025. Action required: A technician will need to attend your site to complete the upgrade. Affected brands: Radionet, Permaconn, Inner Range T4000, and Paradox. What we’ve already done: - Contacted all affected customers via phone and email - Provided updated customer lists to all alarm technician companies with affected devices - Begun follow-up calls and emails to ensure no one is left behind, especially with less than 60 working days until the Christmas shutdown period If you’re a customer or technician with 2G/3G communicators still in use, now’s the time to act.
