One of the highlights of my role with Cater Care is the journeys it takes me on and the incredible people I meet and collaborate with. A great example is Tarcutta Village. I had the opportunity to take a road trip with our Operations team to visit the village during its construction. It was rewarding to get our Marketing team involved with the mobilisation crew and to engage with local suppliers through our procurement team, who are enthusiastic about the work we’re bringing to the community. Bringing projects to life makes the long hours worthwhile. By meeting our tender commitments and adding genuine value for these individuals, we ensure that our values of Care, Pride, and Community are not just words on a page but a promise to the regional communities we serve. A heartfelt thank you to our Operations and mobilisation teams for their dedication to delivering for our clients. I look forward to making the next project even better.

We talk a lot about how good food fuels good learning here at gather by Cater Care, but there’s no getting around the fact it’s impossible to focus in the classroom when you’re hungry. Sadly, thousands of children are still going to school with empty stomachs because their families can’t afford the basics. It’s not right, and it’s something we’re determined to change. That’s why we’re partnering with Foodbank Australia for this year’s Christmas Pride CSR initiative. It’s up to all of us to do our part, and I’ll be working with our teams in boarding schools and residential halls across Australia to raise the funds Foodbank needs to support students going hungry. We’re aiming to make a real difference through our efforts, and I’m excited to share the details of the kind of genuine impact an initiative like this can have. Christmas should be a time for celebration, family, and fun. Unfortunately, Foodbank Australia’s 2025 Hunger Report makes it clear that far too many people will spend this Christmas worrying about how they’re going to feed their families. That’s why the Cater Care team and I are proud to be supporting Foodbank through our latest Christmas Pride CSR initiative. From now until Christmas, we’ll all be working hard to raise the funds Foodbank needs to keep the community fed. Just one dollar can provide two meals for someone in need, and if we all work together, we can make sure that nobody’s left picking between food on the table and presents under the tree. I’m excited to share both the work we’ve done through our past Christmas Pride initiatives and what we hope to achieve this year, by visiting the link below, and where you can learn more about the campaign, the change we’re creating together, and how you can help... https://lnkd.in/gEykhVZC

A lot of Australians are doing it tough right now. Foodbank Australia’s 2025 Hunger Report shows that the average milk run is more expensive than it ever used to be, and far too many families are picking between paying for food and putting a roof over their heads. That’s why Cater Care’s Remote team and I are throwing our weight behind Foodbank for 2025’s Christmas Pride CSR initiative. Foodbank desperately needs funds to keep our community fed, and from here till Christmas we’ll be doing whatever we can to raise money and fight food insecurity. Our teams have already started stringing up the tinsel to show their support, and I can’t wait to see what we achieve over the next few weeks! I’m quite proud to be playing my part in such an important initiative. Christmas is about spending time with your loved ones, and a lot of those all-important memories will be made sitting around the dinner table. Unfortunately, Foodbank Australia’s 2025 Hunger Report paints a pretty clear picture about just how many Australian households will be struggling to feed everyone under their roof this year. That’s why Cater Care’s Remote team and I will be taking point for 2025’s Christmas Pride CSR initiative. Foodbank relies on charitable donations to keep the community fed, and between now and Christmas we’ll be spreading the season’s cheer and drumming up funds for their life-saving work. Our teams have already dusted off the decorations and gotten into the swing of things, and I’m keen to see what goals we can kick over the next few weeks. Visit the link below to learn more about the campaign and how we’re helping Foodbank give the community some much-needed support this Christmas! https://lnkd.in/es3fAGFp

The new Aged Care Quality Standards come into effect in a matter of days now and the heat is on for providers to deliver the promise of ever-improving dining experiences. Here at Cater Care, I’m proud to say we’re working towards that goal through ongoing training initiatives like our Chefs’ Culinary Masterclass Program. I’m completely confident that our chefs are some of the best in the business. This isn’t about making sure their catering is Quality Standards compliant; it’s about making sure that they’re inspired. By giving our chefs a structured program to share their expertise, experiment with new techniques, and hone their craft with every dish, we hope to take every mealtime from routine to meaningful. Watch the video below for an inside look at how we’re spicing up mealtimes in aged care, and reach out if you’ve any questions about adding some culinary expertise to your kitchen.
