YOU are the most underused marketing channel in your own company. I say this as a founder, not a marketer. At home people know your name, your clients, your references. Then you enter a new market and none of that exists. Nobody in London or Dubai has heard of you. Your company can be ten years old and you are a startup again. A lot of founders try to fix this with the playbook that worked at home. Hire a local sales rep, run some ads, send cold emails. It's slow and expensive, because people don't buy from a logo they've never seen. My trick: Before you sell anything in a new market, the right people there need to know who you are and how you think. And you don't need a local network for that. On LinkedIn you can target the exact decision-makers in that country, or upload a list of the companies you want to work with and make sure they see your content. The first clients in a new market should also come from you, not from someone you hired. Nobody sells better than the founder, because the founder knows the problem and the solution best. So I'm opening a few 1:1 consultations for founders who are planning to expand. For a short time it's €50 instead of my usual €300. I keep the price low on purpose. I want to sit down with more founders directly. In one session we'll go through: -What is your new market -How to position yourself for the new market - What content will build trust with buyers who don't know you yet - How to get to the first conversations before you hire anyone locally You'll leave with a plan you can use the same day, whether we work together after or not. I only have a handful of spots. Send me a message and I'll send you my Calendly link.

We run LinkedIn campaigns in 3 markets: CZ/SK, Benelux and NYC + Boston. Most followers come from one of them. But we closed the most deals in markets with the least engagement. Same content and the same approach everywhere. New connections come from all three. Most conversations came from the CZ/SK market because the market has known me for more than 10 years. It makes sense. In a new market, people need to see you more times before they engage. What I'd recommend to any founder going abroad: 1, Choose 3 major geo clusters. 2, Count the number of connections (marketing qualified leads) per country. Always follow up with new connections. "Hey, what got you interested in following me?" 3, Calculate customer acquisition cost (CAC) per country. (the most important one determining what geo targeting performs better) You might get the most engagement and connections from one country, but the most business from another. P.S. I'm hosting a live webinar where I'll share what worked, what didn't, and how I'd enter a new market today with founder-led growth and LinkedIn. Comment "EXPAND" and I'll send you the link.

Every company I've built was international from day one. I didn't have a choice. Slovakia and Czechia are a tiny market for my ambitions and for the nature of the businesses. If I had sold only here, I would have had no one to sell to in the first year. So I always validated the product in my home market first and then quickly expanded abroad. 1, Kontentino, the social media tool I co-founded, competed with Buffer and Hootsuite from the start. In the end, my home market made less than 20% of total revenue. Benelux was our fastest-growing market in year 2. 2, Brand Harvest, a productised agency, hit the limit of the CZ/SK market in year 1. Now international clients account for more than 50% of its revenue. It taught me how to enter new markets fast. Without big budgets, without local offices and without a sales team in every country. More importantly, most Brand Harvest clients are international businesses. We also help them expand into new markets, so I have plenty of real-world data and use cases to share. Thus, I'm hosting a live webinar where I'll share what worked, what didn't, and how I'd enter a new market today with founder-led growth and LinkedIn. Comment "EXPAND" and I'll send you the link.@

More than 60% of companies that expand into a new market fail. Bain analysed geographic expansion and found that more than 60% of expansion attempts failed completely. Only 17% of companies managed to grow profitably abroad. The main reasons? 1. Starting from scratch. At home, you have references, a network, and people who know your name. Abroad, you have none of that. So what works at home won't work abroad. 2. Picking the wrong market. Founders often choose the “obvious”, like expanding into neighbouring countries or going all in on the US market. But there’s a better way to choose the right market than simply doing what seems obvious. 3. Not knowing how to enter the market. Once you’ve chosen a market, what’s the right strategy? Hire a local sales team? Work with a local agency? Expand your PPC campaigns into a new geography? Yes and no.... I’d have to write a book to give you all the answers. But instead, I’m hosting a webinar on this topic. Why? Because all my businesses have been international from day one, and most of the brands in our Brand Harvest portfolio have an international presence and are expanding with our help. So I want to share some wisdom with you:) Comment “EXPAND” and I’ll send you the link to my webinar.

Most founders think they need years to become top industry voices... Might be… if you do it the usual way. Posting randomly. Talking about everything. Hoping something sticks. No strategy = no results. But when you narrow your focus and actually follow a system, it’s a different game. You don’t need years. You need 6-9 months to become top of mind in your niche. Not by doing more. By doing less, but properly. What works: 1. Pick a niche that feels almost too specific 2. Build content around it consistently 3. Share proof, not just opinions 4, Sponsor, sponsor, sponsor the posts That’s it. For example, we recently helped a B2B tech founder generate $120k in new pipeline in just 90 days by owning a single topic. We’re building founders into go-to names in their space within months, not years. If you’re serious about it, send me a DM or check https://brandharvest.io/

"You can't build my personal brand on my behalf. It will be generic and inauthentic." I always love to prove this objection wrong. Here is how we build authority and make you top-of-mind in your niche without you typing a single word: 1. Trending Topic Research We analyze what themes are currently resonating with your target audience. We don't guess what they want to read; the data tells us. 2. Marketing Alignment Thought leadership shouldn't exist in a vacuum. We align the content with your internal marketing and product team, ensuring your personal brand supports current campaigns, upcoming events, and sales goals. 3. The interview We record a video interview to deep-dive into your mind. We extract your most compelling stories, specific insights, and contrarian opinions. These recordings become the foundation for authentic, engaging LinkedIn content. We do not invent stories for you. We extract them. (This picture was taken during one of our “fake podcast” interviews.)
