Berlin, we’re getting bigger. 🇩🇪 We’ve signed a long-term lease for a new 285-studio Bob W property at Alexanderplatz - our largest property to date. The 9,722 sqm building in Berlin is being converted from a former office building by Aroundtown, bringing another significant property into our growing European portfolio. It’s been a big year for growth: we’ve opened 34% more new keys than in 2025 and signed 1.5x as many deals, with our portfolio continuing to expand across Europe. As Philip Grace, Chief Development Officer at Bob W, puts it: “We’ve built a model that can work across markets and building types, and we are now increasingly able to take on larger and more complex assets while retaining the lean operating structure that sits at the heart of Bob W.” Next up: Expo Real, where we’ll be talking about the opportunities ahead and where Bob W goes next. Bob W is coming to Rotterdam 🇳🇱 We've signed a long-term lease with Dudok Real Estate to convert four floors of office space at Weena 147 into Bob W Rotterdam Central, a 160-unit flagship property targeted to open in summer 2027. Niko Karstikko, Co-founder and CEO of Bob W, said: "Weenahuis is exactly the kind of opportunity we look for: a prime, exceptionally well-connected location where we can repurpose existing real estate and give it a new lease of life." Bob W is joining Krulli kvartal, one of the most ambitious regeneration projects in Tallinn 🇪🇪 Bob W Tallinn Krulli Kvartal will open in Q1 2028 with 34 studios and 29 one-bedroom apartments, making it our fifth property in the city where we opened our very first back in 2019. Krulli is a 10.2-hectare former industrial quarter with more than 125 years of history behind it, now being transformed into a car-free neighbourhood of homes, offices, shops and cultural space. Five of its 20 buildings are heritage-protected, and reuse runs through the whole project – three of our building's facade panels are coming directly from the site's former mechanics workshop. Taavi Pettai, Vice President of Real Estate at Bob W, said: "Krulli is exactly the kind of neighbourhood we want to be part of. It has a strong identity and history, but it is also evolving into a genuinely mixed-use part of the city where people will live, work and spend their time." More on the project in the comments 👇
