Change one benefit and you've got four places to change it. The provider file, the payroll report, what the employee sees, and the tracker that's supposed to hold it all together. Miss one and you find out at the end of the month. In Ben, you change a benefit once and it updates everywhere. Switch Ben on.

It's 2026 and benefits still runs on a spreadsheet. Several, usually. One of them is the real one, and one person knows which. Set a benefit up in Ben and it takes minutes, then goes to payroll in a click. The spreadsheet goes back to being a spreadsheet. Switch Ben on.

Most benefits programmes still run on a spreadsheet. Usually several, usually one person's, and usually the one that gets checked the night before payroll. It works, right up until a simple change takes a fortnight and nobody can say for certain what's live. In Ben, you set a benefit up in minutes and it's payroll ready in one click. Switch Ben on.

Running benefits is hard in a way that's difficult to explain to anyone who hasn't done it. One change, five places to make it, and no way of proving you got them all. Ben holds one version of how your benefits actually work. Change it once and everything downstream follows. Switch Ben on.

I was in Paris last week, talking to global benefits leaders about a report we've just published on AI and benefits delivery. We could have written another one of those AI reports. Thirty pages, the word "transformation" about forty times, ten variants of the same stock photo, and by page three you've forgotten whose report you're reading. But we didn't want to do that. So This Changes Everything is about where AI is actually changing how companies run benefits today. What it can do, what it can't, and the bits we haven't worked out yet, because pretending otherwise would have been the same report everyone else is writing. Check it out in the comments.

Everyone in benefits says they're AI-native now, in the same way everyone on Hinge says they're six foot and no drama. Gartner looked into it. Out of thousands of companies claiming agentic AI, roughly 130 are doing it. The rest have put a lab coat on a chatbot and are hoping nobody asks a follow-up question. Here's two minutes on what the real thing looks like when you point it at benefits admin. The report from Ben is in the comments.
