🎄 Season’s greetings from all at Balfour Beatty 🎄 As we reflect on 2025, we’re proud of the progress we’ve made in building new futures – delivering critical national infrastructure and projects that strengthen communities and create opportunities for generations to come. None of this would be possible without the passion and collaboration of our colleagues, partners and customers worldwide. Thank you for being part of this journey. This festive season, we’re donating £27,000 – £1 for each of our 27,000 employees – to support Feeding America and FareShare UK, two incredible charities who redistribute surplus food to help those who need it most. We’re looking forward to making a difference in 2026 and beyond 🌟

For the first time in 67 years, Nottingham has a new river crossing. Last week, the 87-metre, 161-tonne Waterside Bridge was lifted into place over the River Trent – connecting the Trent Basin area and Lady Bay and bringing communities in Nottingham and Rushcliffe closer together. Delivered on behalf of Nottingham City Council through the SCAPE Civil Engineering framework, the bridge will create safer, greener routes for pedestrians and cyclists, supporting a more connected and sustainable future for the city. We’re proud to have played a part in this historic moment for Nottingham. Today, we had the pleasure of hosting a rail mayoral roundtable, where Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham; Rob McIntosh, Route Managing Director at Network Rail; Katie Day, Deputy Chief Executive at Transport for the North; Simon Warburton, Executive Director of Transport at West Yorkshire Combined Authority; and many other influential rail leaders from across the North joined us to discuss how rail can unlock regional growth and prosperity. Our discussions delved into the pivotal role regional rail plays in developing skills, connecting communities and driving economic opportunity. We also emphasised the need to secure continued investment for the sector’s future. Thank you to everyone who participated in such an engaging and thought-provoking conversation. We are excited to build on these ideas and work together towards a better, greener future. #ExpertEngineers #Skills #BalfourBeatty #creatingtomorrowsrailway
